AS Equity Partners Acquires 60% Stake in Servinform

3 April 2025
Servinform
Servinform, a leading company based in Seville, is aiming to enhance its international footprint and accelerate growth in Latin America and Europe. The company already operates in Colombia, Portugal, and Italy, with a new branch in Italy set to commence BPO operations soon.

To facilitate this expansion, Servinform has entered into a strategic partnership with AS Equity Partners, a pan-European private equity firm based in Zurich and London. This firm specializes in investing in mid-sized technology companies with significant growth potential. AS Equity Partners will acquire a 60% stake in Servinform, while the Rufo family, the company's current majority shareholders, will retain 40%. Importantly, this investment will not alter the existing leadership structure, with Nacho Rufo continuing as CEO.

Nacho Rufo emphasized that this partnership will enhance Servinform's financial capabilities and provide valuable expertise for future growth. He expressed optimism about exploring new opportunities, stating, "We aspire to move forward to new horizons."

AS Equity Partners shares this vision, highlighting the importance of digital transformation in today's market. Andreas Schulte, Managing Partner and Founder of AS Equity Partners, noted that the investment comes at a crucial time when advancements in artificial intelligence and automation are vital for Servinform's growth and international expansion.

Since early 2024, Servinform has been operating in Colombia to meet client demands and support their strategic development. Rufo indicated that this move marks the beginning of the company's broader ambitions in South America, Central America, and eventually the U.S. Additionally, the new Italian branch will focus on BPO operations for two key international clients.

Servinform is also planning to allocate a significant budget to enhance its technology and management teams, as well as to explore synergies with other companies in the BPO sector. The company received legal advice from A&O Shearman and financial guidance from Jefferies during this transaction.

In summary, Servinform's partnership with AS Equity Partners positions the company for substantial growth and international expansion, particularly in Latin America and Europe, while maintaining its current leadership and operational strategies.
