Coller Capital, a leading private market secondaries manager based in London, has appointed Jonathan Aiach as the Head of Southern Europe Private Wealth Distribution. Aiach will operate from Zurich, overseeing the firm’s private wealth secondaries solutions (PWSS) in southern Europe, aimed at providing private wealth investors and intermediaries with access to diversified institutional-quality private market secondary investments.
This appointment is part of Coller Capital's strategy to expand its PWSS business globally, following the recent launches of CollerEquity and CollerCredit, which are open-ended secondaries funds targeting international private wealth investors outside the U.S.
Aiach brings over 15 years of experience in private markets to his new role. He previously served as a director at CapMan, where he focused on enhancing the company’s private markets platform across the EMEA region and elevating its international profile. His background also includes positions at DWS in their infrastructure team and Blackrock, where he specialized in alternative investment strategies for key clients in EMEA.
His early career featured roles at Oakley Capital, BNP Paribas, and Cheyne Capital. Aiach holds a Master’s in Finance from Sciences Po Paris and an MSc in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan. In his new position, he will report to Boris Maeder, the Head of International Private Wealth Distribution.
Boris Maeder expressed enthusiasm about Aiach's appointment, noting the strong interest from investors in Italy, France, and Spain since the launch of CollerEquity. He believes Aiach's extensive experience and local connections will enhance the firm's ability to serve clients in these important markets.
