Insider Media Ltd
Nodor Group, a darts equipment manufacturer with over a century of history, has secured investment from private equity firm Inflexion. The company, which employs more than 1,000 people across three continents, exports its products to over 100 countries. In 2024, Nodor was honored with the King's Award for Enterprise for International Trade, highlighting its significant global presence.

Nodor's key brands, Winmau and Red Dragon, are associated with many top professionals in the sport, including world champion Luke Humphries. Managing director Vince Bluck expressed confidence that Inflexion's expertise in developing market-leading businesses will help Nodor maintain its position in the expanding darts market. He emphasized the excitement surrounding their collaboration to promote the sport globally.

Inflexion aims to support Nodor's management team in expanding the business geographically and through various channels. They will also focus on product development and leveraging technology to enhance the company's offerings. Flor Kassai, a partner at Inflexion, praised Nodor's innovative approach and expressed enthusiasm for backing the family-led management team, aligning with the company's ambitious growth objectives.

Gambit acted as lead advisors for the transaction, overseeing its initiation, structuring, negotiation, and project management. Partners Frank Holmes and Sam Forman led the M&A team, with Holmes noting the rarity of working with a leading brand like Nodor in the darts sector. He acknowledged the Bluck family's commitment to innovation and quality, positioning the company at the forefront of the sport.

This partnership comes at a pivotal time for darts, as Nodor looks to build on its legacy and achieve new milestones with Inflexion's support. Gambit is eager to witness the next chapter in Nodor's success story. Legal advice for the shareholders was provided by Osborne Clarke, while KPMG assisted with tax-related matters.
