LDC, a private equity investor under Lloyds Banking Group, has enhanced its Value Creation Partners (VCP) team with three senior appointments aimed at bolstering support for management teams across the UK. The new hires include Mustafa Khanbhai as VCP Director, Commercial; Lizzie Meadowcroft as VCP Director, Operations, Carve Out & Integration; and Prashant Selvaratnam as VCP Director, Data Strategy & AI.

The VCP team, which now boasts over 100 years of combined experience in board-level operational roles and consultancy, collaborates with LDC’s investors and portfolio management teams. Their mission is to identify and implement strategies that foster sustainable growth, improve commercial and operational capabilities, and enhance ESG maturity throughout the investment lifecycle.

Khanbhai, based in Manchester, will focus on refining go-to-market strategies and boosting commercial effectiveness for LDC’s portfolio companies. With over 20 years of experience, he has held significant roles at companies like Mars, Virgin, and Uber, where he served as General Manager for Customer Operations and Strategy in the UK and Ireland. His background also includes leadership positions at fast-growing technology firms such as Printsource and Avasam.

Meadowcroft, also located in Manchester, specializes in integration, carve-out, and operational improvement. She brings two decades of experience in managing complex change programs, emphasizing both financial outcomes and employee engagement. Before joining LDC, she established a mid-market integration and separation advisory practice at Cortus Advisory and was a Partner at KPMG in their Deal Execution Strategy team.

Selvaratnam, based in Bristol, will assist portfolio companies in developing and executing data strategies that leverage artificial intelligence to unlock value and mitigate risks. His career began as a structural engineer, followed by roles in management consultancy at Newton Europe. He has also held data leadership positions at UK scale-ups, including Onfido and QuantSpark, as well as at airline Condor.

These strategic hires reflect LDC's commitment to enhancing the operational capabilities of its portfolio companies, ensuring they are well-equipped to navigate the complexities of growth and change in today’s market.
