Global law firm White & Case LLP has provided legal counsel to Nordic Capital in its joint investment with the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board in Max Matthiessen.
Nordic Capital is a prominent private equity investor specializing in various sectors. Since its establishment in 1989, the firm has invested €26 billion across nearly 150 transactions.
Max Matthiessen offers a range of services, including pension, insurance, and wealth management solutions tailored for employers, entrepreneurs, and individuals.
The investment is pending standard regulatory approvals and is anticipated to finalize in the first half of 2025.
The White & Case team in London, which facilitated the transaction, was led by partners Ross Allardice and Tom Clarke, alongside partner Michael Engel and associates Joao Lacerda and Benedict Tansey.
