OSI Group LLC, a global food processor, is set to acquire Karnova Food Group, a supplier of protein ingredients. This move follows the establishment of Karnova, which was formed after Endless LLP acquired and integrated Yorkshire Premier Meat and Smithfield Murry in 2022 and 2023.

James Warburton, investment director at Endless, expressed pride in the rapid development of Karnova and noted that while the sale was not initially planned, OSI's clear ambitions for the business made them an ideal long-term owner. OSI Group boasts over 67 facilities and 20,000 employees across 17 countries, distributing food products in 77 countries worldwide.

Katharine Haenlt, managing director for OSI UK, welcomed Karnova into the OSI family, highlighting the impressive growth the company has experienced under Endless' ownership. She also sees significant opportunities for further expansion within the combined businesses.

This acquisition follows OSI Group's previous purchase of Park 100 Foods last October, which specializes in kettle-formulated frozen foods.
