Warburg Pincus Appoints Martyn Curragh as Senior Advisor

Warburg Pincus, a leader in private equity growth investing, has announced the appointment of Martyn Curragh as a Senior Advisor in its Technology and Services practice. Curragh will focus on identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, as well as advising portfolio companies on strategies for growth and value creation, particularly in professional and tech-enabled services.

Previously, Curragh served as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Portfolio Strategy at PwC. In this role, he was instrumental in enhancing revenue and profitability, optimizing investment processes, and executing significant business divestitures and acquisitions aimed at strategic growth. He also led PwC's U.S. Deals practice, where he expanded capabilities and offerings for both private equity and corporate clients.

Warburg Pincus has a strong investment history in professional and tech-enabled services, with notable investments in companies such as Aztec Group, Specialist Risk Group, and Ensemble Health Partners. The firm is keen to leverage Curragh's expertise to further accelerate its investments in this sector.

Curragh is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds an undergraduate degree in economics from Queen's University of Belfast.
