Balthazar Cazac is the Managing Partner for Green Infrastructure at EQUITA, based in Milan, Italy. He has been with EQUITA since January 2023. Prior to this role, Balthazar served as a Strategic Advisor at Abraxas Capital Management Limited starting in November 2017. He also holds board positions at Decal Renewables and FuGen Abraxas Wind 1 since 2019. Additionally, Balthazar has been the Executive Chairman of Cautha since February 2008, having previously founded and served as Managing Director of the same company from 2006 to 2008. His earlier career includes a post-doctoral research associate position at the Molecular Pathogenesis, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, NYU Medical Center from 2001 to 2002.
