Hiroshi Yamamoto is the Managing Director, Head of Asia at Locust Walk, based in Japan. He has held this position since January 2022.

Prior to joining Locust Walk, Hiroshi founded and served as CEO of Eighty-Eighty Therapeutics starting in August 2019.

His extensive career includes roles such as Senior Advisor and Corporate Officer at SanBio, Corporate Officer at KinoPharma, and various leadership positions at Santen, including Vice President of Santen China and Managing Director for Santen Asia and India.

Hiroshi also held senior roles at AbbVie and Eisai, where he managed regional marketing and project management.

He began his career as a Medical Representative at Eisai in 2004.

Hiroshi's diverse experience in the pharmaceutical and investment banking sectors underscores his expertise in business development and strategic leadership across Asia.
