John Antel is the Managing Director at Greenhill & Co., a leading independent investment bank. Based in the United States, John has been with Greenhill & Co. since January 2022, initially serving as Principal before being promoted to Managing Director in January 2023.

Prior to joining Greenhill & Co., John held several key positions at Jefferies, including Senior Vice President and Vice President in Investment Banking. His career also includes significant experience at Merrill Lynch, where he served as an Associate in Investment Banking, focusing on Oil & Gas and Mergers & Acquisitions.

John began his professional journey as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, where he served as a Naval Aviator. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, class of 2002.
