John Peterson is the Managing Director at CIBC US Middle Market Investment Banking, based in the United States. He has been with CIBC Cleary Gull since January 1995, bringing extensive experience in investment banking.

Prior to his current role, John served as a Board Member at Krueger International, Inc. from 1995 to 2016 and at Richardson Electronics, Inc. from 1999 to 2011. He also held the position of Managing Director at Tucker Anthony Sutro from 1998 to 2001.

Earlier in his career, John worked as an Attorney at Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. from 1982 to 1995 and as a Tax Accountant and CPA at Arthur Young from 1978 to 1979.

John is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
