James Hopkins is the Managing Director and Head of Placements at Joseph Gunnar & Co., LLC, based in the United States. He assumed this role in April 2024. Prior to this, James founded Sixth Borough Capital Management LLC, where he served from September 2021 to April 2024.

Before founding Sixth Borough, he was the Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets at Dawson James Securities, Inc. from July 2019 to April 2024, and earlier, he held the position of Vice President of Capital Markets at the same firm from February 2014 to July 2019.

James brings extensive experience in capital markets and investment banking to his current role at Joseph Gunnar & Co., LLC.
